HARE ’N’ SCRAMBLE – A NEW ENDURO ADVENTURE IN CANAZEI

Holger and Karen, the creative minds behind the legendary Singletrail Schnitzeljagd in Sölden, have been cooking again — mixing trails, challenge, community and a good dose of fun. The result? Hare ’n’ Scramble, a brand-new Enduro fun event in the spectacular Dolomites of Canazei, Val di Fassa.

The idea is simple: bring riders together for a day of technically challenging trails, a little friendly competition and plenty of good times — all set against an absolutely epic Dolomite backdrop.

The first edition kicked off on September 5th, blessed with perfect weather and perfect trail conditions. Over the course of the day, riders took on 18 different trails, testing their skills, stamina and sometimes their willingness to get back on the bike for “just one more run.”

And of course, the Yakima Land Rover Defender was along for the ride. Equipped with a Yakima Rooftop and Bikerack, it became the trusty companion of our biking family — Holger, Karen, Leni and Lois — as they made their way to some of these very special spots in and around the Dolomites. From transporting the bikes to simply being part of the adventure, the Defender was right there wherever the next trail and the next good story were waiting.

By the end, everyone had earned a proper rest. Tired legs, big smiles and plenty of stories were shared over BBQ, beers and DJ beats, turning the finish into exactly what Hare ’n’ Scramble is all about: riding hard, having fun and being part of the community.

And somewhere between the dust, rocks, high-fives and post-ride beers, our products found their way into the mix — right where they belong: part of the adventure, not just part of the picture.

See you next year, in September, in the Dolomites Val di Fassa for the 2nd edition of Hare n`Scramble 2027.
